Manatees

This is also at Sea World in Orlando Fl. This is a Manatee. Manatees are big aquatic marine mammals. They are sometimes known as seacows. They range in length from 10-12 feet. The weight of them range between 1,500-1,800 lbs. The life span is 50 to 60 years in the wild. They eat freshwater and marine plants. For such a big mammal it looks like they just glide through the water. They are a magnificent mammal desperately needing human help to preserve this wonderful and gentle species.
