The peace of being in nature may mean different things to different people. It may be something tangible that you can see and touch, or something as intangible as the feel of a spring breeze on your face. Looking up at the sky at night and seeing the trillions of stars may cause you to feel a certain peace. The same feelings may be brought on by witnessing the raw, natural power of a thunderstorm.
Lying in the grass and watching the clouds roll by can be a very therapeutic part of nature. You could find your peace in the sight of your favorite lake, the anticipation of diving into it, and the feeling of weightless as you let the water support you. The feeling of standing atop a tall mountain can also be peaceful, as you may feel like you are flying. Most of nature's peace comes from the sense of awe that people feel when they go out and explore it.
Sometimes, just being in a place out in nature that holds a special, peaceful meaning for you will bring peace to your body and mind. Watching a nature film may whisk you back to that moment. You might seek out the calmness of being in nature by listening to beautiful, restful music put together with videos of nature. There are also music CDs composed with sounds of nature that might help you return to a sense of calm within your memories of the great outdoors.
