 Here is my garden where I grew up and beyond. What your seeing in this picture is foremost left is herb garden you can't see to good all of the herbs but there were a lot of different kinds in there. There was dill, parsley, rosemary, thyme, peppermint, chives, and others. I can't remember them all now anymore. But it was a fun herb garden, I would go down and pick what I would need. Some herbs such as chives and parsley I would cut up and rinse off and put in a container to freeze for winter use. On the right had side was my rock garden. That's what I called it but there were all different kinds of plants in it. One was the butterfly plant, it had orange flowers on it and was loved by butterflies. I had some kind of succulent plants in there at the bottom of this space. It helped hold the ground up so it wouldn't wash down onto the patio that was below the garden, see the one chair there well that's sitting on the patio. You might see that later on in other pictures I put on. Off in the distance of this pictures with the wood sticks and the wire up is the or was the vegetable garden, well one of them.. Look at the grass doesn't it look nice when it has been cut, it looks so nicely groomed. Hope you enjoy these pictures, I will be putting them on and talking about them as I find them. |
