St Patricks Day

Some of my posts will be of my crafting through the years. I used to do a lot of it, and it was very relaxing and fun to do. Now a days I don't do a lot of it, I'm lucky when I get time to work in the garden. But here are some of the things I have made through the years in upcoming posts. This first picture was at St. Patricks Day. The coffee table cover is one that I made out of ST. Patricks day material. I will have another post on to actually show you the opposite side. Because this piece here for St Patricks Day when I made these I made the other side a different holiday material and on the back of this one is an Easter pattern, but that comes later. Not only the cover was made by me. But the flowers is something I made up also. I bought two vases and put a type of straw in the vases to hide the stems of the artificial flower stems These are different colored roses and though you probably can't see it the roses look like they have rain drops on them, plus I put amongst the roses some dried baby breath. The green St Patricks basket I crocheted around a small butter container and put Styrofoam inside and sat a small figurine on top and I crocheted a handle for the basket and sewed it with yarn to the basket. Inside the cup is a bunch of three and four leaf clovers that I crocheted.
