 This is a picture of a bunny crocheted doily that I had done. I used to bring it out for Easter. It's been quite awhile since I had him out. I love all kinds of crocheting and again have not done any in quite a long long time. But maybe I'll get the chance again to do some of the hobbies I used to do some day again.
This kind of crocheting with a picture in it, is quite fun to do and I've done a few of these kind. This was done from a pattern, I do all of my crocheting from a pattern. I had learned crocheting when I was quite young from my grandmother who used to crochet. She did sets a doilies, small doilies, large doilies. She did these all in her mind she never used a pattern. Well from watching her and doing little things she showed me when I was slightly older, I had bought a crochet pattern book, there was something in there that I had liked. Reading the pattern and just looking at the illustrations they had and knowing what my grandmother had showed me and from watching her, I picked it up quite easily, reading patterns. Where she did not read patterns to make her pieces, this is the only way I can make something is if I read a pattern and make the item. Kind of strange how that worked out. But non the less I love crocheting and all the different things you can make.
You can make afghans from yarn, you can use a finer yarn to make baby clothes and blankets, and threads to make doilies of all kinds. There's no limit with the help of patterns and your own imagination you can make anything.
