This picture is of a smoke bush. It was very small went I firs planted it. Every year it grew a little. There are different types of smoke trees. But the two I know of is one with the whitish smoke colored flowers, and the pick one that I had gotten. It's a beautiful plant, you can keep it trimmed or just let it do it's own thing. The flowers that it gets on it just look like smoke, in this instance pink smoke. They are such a beautiful bush. These bushes are drought tolerant, and some species have purple leaves as well, mine in this picture had green leaves. It's all up to what you like. This type of plant is usually used as a specimen plant, because of its plumes. That is what I did, I used it as a specimen plant in the area that I had put it. They are low maintenance as well. It's an incredible plant and if you even seen these, you might be thinking of getting one yourself. If you've not seen them before maybe now you will want to look into this type of bush and see if you might have a place to put one of these. This is just one more of my plants that the birds seemed to enjoy so much. They would just fly into the tree/bush and sit and rest for awhile and look around. You can get them as a smaller bush and watch them grow like I did, or you can purchase a bigger one that you don't have to wait so long for it to grow bigger for you.
