 Here is the picture I talked about in my previous post. It tells you that I feed the squirrels with corn. Well here is the corn. They go up on there little seat and eat the corn that is on the table. Like I said also in my previous post. Since the squirrels help themselves to the bird feed, so the birds think it's only fair to have some of the squirrels corn. Here is a picture of a Blue Jay that has eaten some of the corn, and he is just about to take flight. This is a great picture I think, the blue of this Blue Jay is so beautiful and to catch his wings in action as he is about to take off, was a good catch with the camera. As you can see there is a bird feeder on top of the post and another plastic bird feeder on a pole. The plant behind it is a trumpet vine, It is all trimmed for the spring and has yet to bloom yet. It will produce trailing vines with leaves and produce the trumpet flowers on them. The hummingbirds love this plant. I think in a recent post I have actually a picture of the trumpet vine in bloom. Spring is a wonderful time. It's the time that you can get out and do things in the garden, and plant flowers, or trees, and clean up the yard for a new year. It is a great time of year, you actually feel as if you have more get up and go. |
