 Here is a 1926 Ford Model TT Truck. It is at Knoebels Amusement Resort. Address is 391 Knoebels Blvd. Elysburg,Pa.17824. The two pictures of this truck take you back to a time of different memories. The side of the truck where the sign is says, “ This vehicle is one similar to those used by Park patrons at the time of Knoebels' first season. Many enjoyable drives in the summer of 1926 lead to blanket picnics near the new pool.” It must have been amazing back in those days. It kept changing and evolving. Now today this truck sits as a reminder of what once was. Knoebels is a fascinating place today for families to enjoy, there are rides for both young and old alike. Just to mention a few of the rides: Goin Buggy, Hand Cars, Kiddie Boat Ride, Wipeout, Pioneer Train, Giant Wheel, Haunted Mansion, Cosmotron, Giant Flume, Skloosh, Phoenix Roller Coaster, Bumper Boats, Tea Cups, Merry Mixer, and those are just a few of the rides. It's a wonderful place to go. Very family oriented. They have shows, both for children, and they have concerts, many a good singer I've seen there. They have magic shows. They have a Mining Museum which is free of charge. It is a tribute to the anthracite coal mining industry. This park still has a swimming pool. It has games you can play in the arcade. Many fabulous places that you can get something to eat. Pizza, sodas, ice cream, waffles, and the list goes on. They have pavilions which you can rent out for family reunions or for work picnics, etc. You can have birthday parties there as well. They have a camping site, if you're into camping.
