In the wild dolphins can live up to 50 years although the average age is 17 years in the wild. Some dolphins can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes while others have to breathe every 20 seconds. That is quite a difference. There are so many interesting things about these mammals. When dolphins jump out of the water they have been noted to jump as high as 20 feet. There is a lot to know about these mammals. They are very interesting to watch in the water and to learn about them.
