Seahorses

Here is a picture of some seahorses that I took a picture of at Sea World in Orlando, Fl. In year 2000.

It was a fun trip in September. The weather was beautiful there, unlike back in northeast Pa. We could go outside at night without a sweater on, the flowers were in full bloom, it was beautiful.

Here are some facts about seahorses: Seahorses are monogamous and they mate for life. Something you might not have even thought of. These are really rare because they are among the only animal spices in which the male bears the unborn young. The seahorses are found in shallow tropical and temperate waters throughout the world. They are upright swimmers, and are relatives to the pipefish. They can range from 0.6inches to 14 inches long. The male seahorse has a brood pouch on their front facing side. When mating the female deposits her eggs in his pouch and the male fertilizes them internally. He carries the eggs in his pouch until they hatch, then he releases fully formed miniature seahorses into the water. To keep in one place they anchor themselves with their tails. There is so much to know about seahorses, if this gained your curiosity, look them up and see how much more you can find out about these amazing creatures.

You've presented some amazing facts about these seahorses. The one on the right appears to be 'anchored' as you say and casting a reflection? Is there a mirror in the background?
