Here where I live in Northeast Pa. We received 23inches by the end of the day of February 10th. The most we have seen here at one time for a very long time. Now I know snow is terrible for some people, and they don't like the cold, the shoveling, the driving in it. The list goes on, and I must say I'm usually one of those people. But this snow was a little special it actually came the day of my birthday and I did not have to go anyplace the day before, the day of, or the day after. So I got to enjoy the snow and all of it beauty like I used to when I was a kid.
The day time I just stayed inside and watched the snow make its winter wonderland outside and stayed warm inside. Just enjoying the scenery. When it got dark I went out and shoveled several paths for the puppies to run through, like a maze. Take a look at the picture I posted, you see the path? Well the paths got used that night I left the puppies out and I bundled up and if not for the paths, the snow was up over my knees. So I just ran around the paths and the puppies followed me, when we reached an intersection we chose another path to run through. I think all of us enjoyed ourselves that day, my husband did not take part in the running, he was cutting wood for the wood stove to keep us cozy for the night, but I do believe he enjoyed watching me and the puppies having fun in our maze through the snow. Acting like a kid in the snow again was fun on this particular day. I made the most of it. Hope everyone even if they don't like the snow can enjoy it to some degree. Have a great rest of the winter. Spring is soon here.
